Trine: Dance Church

An Ecstatic Dance Gathering for Erie

What if Sunday morning felt like freedom?

Trine: Dance Church is Erie’s new monthly ecstatic dance gathering: a space for movement, meditation, and community. No choreography. No talking on the dance floor. No performance. Just music, breath, and bodies moving freely.

This is a space to arrive exactly as you are.

Our Agreements

To keep this space accessible and safe for everyone:

  • Move however your body wants.

  • No talking on the dance floor.

  • No phones or photos.

  • Consent is essential.

  • This is a sober space.

  • Come as you are — all ages, identities, bodies, and abilities welcome.

We believe movement belongs to everyone. You don’t need to know how to dance. You just need a body.

Dates:

Sundays: March 15, April 19, May 24

Doors at 10:45 AM

Dance begins at 11:11 AM

Why Ecstatic Dance?

Ecstatic dance gatherings around the world offer something rare: a substance-free space to move, release, connect, and feel alive together. It’s part dance floor, part meditation hall, part community ritual.

In a time when so many of us feel isolated, overstimulated, or disconnected from our bodies, this is a return.

Accessibility + Inclusion

This space is committed to:

  • Welcoming BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and neurodivergent community members

  • Encouraging body neutrality and freedom from appearance-based judgment

  • Offering sliding scale pricing $10-20

  • Clear consent culture

  • Trauma-informed facilitation

If you have accessibility needs, please reach out in advance so we can support you - info@1020collective.com

Erie deserves spaces where we can move together in the daylight.

Come sweat.

Come pray (in whatever way that means to you).

Come rest.

Come dance.
