The 1020 Collective is directed by Rick Bowser and Sarah Moody.

Married in life and business, these two are at the helm of the project pouring their heart and passion for the arts and expanding the cultural experience in Erie and beyond. They met during the first exhibition at 1020, curated by Rick, and have been working together to create and cultivate the arts in downtown Erie.

Rick is a multi-instrumentalist with a deep passion for the healing arts of music. He operates Rick’s Records, loves great coffee, and expansive experiences. Sarah is a multimedia artist with a focus on traditional black and white photography, painting, and curatorial arts. She is a doula, a meditation and yoga instructor. Together, they run 1020 Collective, The Bastion, Rick’s Records, MK Film Lab and raise their children.
