First Friday Dance Party: Friendsgiving Edition with DJ Jonny Bravo

Join us for our next First Friday Dance Party, a Friendsgiving Edition filled with good music, good energy, and good purpose. We’re coming together to celebrate community and give back, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Erie City Mission’s “Box of Love” Thanksgiving Drive.

DJ Jonny Bravo will be on deck all night spinning your favorites so you can get your groove on. Grab your friends, hit the floor, and move for a cause that matters.

We’ll also be accepting donations to support the Erie City Mission this holiday season - including:

Meditative Mondays take place every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Each session features a guided meditation created intentionally for that specific day and the people who are present. It’s a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself and whatever you need in that moment.

Sessions will last up to an hour, and entry is on a sliding scale from $5–$20. You’re welcome to bring your own yoga mat, a pillow for extra comfort, and some water (though we’ll have some here too). Come as you are, and make time for yourself in a space made for just that.

Jazz Night

Join us for the first Jazz Vinyl Night sponsored by Rick’s Records, a community listening session celebrating the sounds of jazz on vinyl. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own jazz records to add to the queue and enjoy an evening of music, conversation, and connection. Sweet treats by Perry’s Pastries will be available, along with cocktails, mocktails, tea, and coffee from the bar and café. This marks the first in a series of jazz listening events hosted at 1020 Collective.

Gallery Night is a celebration of arts in our city and for 1020 Collective - our multi-faceted organization is opening the doors of both of our locations this month! Game Night with Paper Frog’s Notebook Knockout

Game Night is back at 1020 Collective! 

Join us Friday, September 12 from 6 - 10pm as we kick things off with Notebook Knockout, a brand new battle royale-style board + card game from the award-winning team at Paper Frog Studio. We’ll also have other games like chess, Mario Kart, and Nintendo to play with as well in addition to Notebook Knockout. 

You’ll get the chance to play before its official release (their Kickstarter launches September 16th!) and meet the creators themselves. Best part? It’s completely free to play!

And that’s not all - one of the creators, Stevie DiGiacomo (the artist behind all the game’s stunning artwork), will also be the featured artist/presenter at our Collective Community networking night on Thursday, September 18.
