Artist Statement Workshop with Brianna of Lyle Editorial

The essence of your artist statement is about you, but specifically, it's about clarifying your work and ideas for critics, gallerists, and editors who might want to work with you. Learn how to effectively communicate your art in this Artist Statement Workshop held by Lyle Editorial with the support of 1020 Collective.

In this workshop you will: learn the do’s and don’ts of artist statements; read successful examples of artist statements; learn an outline method for creating your statement; and work on your statement in class with the help of an editorial editor there to answer your questions.

This is a beginner writing class meant for any artist (visual, written, etc.) looking to better articulate their work. Scholarships for full-funding available via 1020 Collective. Head to 1020collective.com to purchase a ticket or apply for a scholarship. More details below:
