Nicole Reinhold Kramer Martin

Born in Antwerp in 1939, Nicole Reinhold Kramer Martin was raised in New York City. Evan Everhart

is a self-taught metal sculptor, creating art full-time for over 20 years. He gained experience with metal working at a local steel company for 10 years. Passion for the arts and nature led him to create art from steel, challenging himself to transform scrap metal into a strong and attractive art form. His artwork ranges from both figurative and abstract, to small and large-scale sculptures that convey the beauty of nature using unattractive, discarded materials.

"While some creations are representational and others are abstract, the powerful emotion in the sculptures are something viewers always comment on, and what is most important to me."

Branden Paillant

Statement:

Here in Ningbo, the light can be flat during the day because of the clouds. Thus, recently the majority of my photographs are taken at night. Taking pictures at night, or in any low light situation, creates an arena of issues to be taken into account. Reciprocity failure compensation, a mandatory tripod, measuring light, color shifts, and of course when shooting on film, the finished product is always a surprise that requires time to be revealed. The works on display are a collection of images that show moments during my urban exploration. Places that grabbed my attention, for one reason or another.
