This show is an Artist’s Response to raise awareness of the issues affecting the control of women. Specifically, the Supreme Courts recent overturning of Roe vs. Wade and our rights to privacy and reproductive freedoms.

The right to reproductive health care is inherently valuable and should be protected. Unfortunately, these rights are being denied at the State level and more recent, a National Ban is being proposed.

The right to reproductive health care is inherently valuable and should be protected. Unfortunately, these rights are being denied at the State level and more recent, a National Ban is being proposed.

The goal of these extreme state legislatures is control and deny access to contraception, medications used to manage miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, or complications from pregnancy loss, medications used to terminate pregnancies, and over-the-counter or prescription prophylactics to prevent pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections or disease and can all have a negative impact on reproductive privacy and health.

The extreme views of these legislatures are having a significant negative influence on the health and well-being of women, girls and families, resulting in avoidable illness, injury, or death.

This show is a way to have an active voice and an active role in supporting women’s rights to privacy and reproductive freedom.
